It tasted fine and the mouthfeel was perfect but the texture and look wasn't what I expected. My best guess is that the temperatures were slightly off when I added the butter, but it was my first attempt so I'm not sure.

    If your buttercream is too soft, chill it in the refrigerator for a few minutes, then whip it again

    Take about a half cup of that frosting and microwave it until it’s soft/just starts to melt. Pour it back into your buttercream and beat until smooth.
