Just wondering what type of pepper this is and how to care for it. It was a volunteer and started producing a few months ago

Do not over water it. Wait until the still is dry and the leaves are starting to droop. Avoid afternoon sun. Hot peppers love morning sun, but will look droopy with too much afternoon sun, which makes people over water them.

It’s got a tiny red peooper on it, and it resembles a chili pepper.

Possibly a Tabasco pepper plant because the fruit looks like it is growing upwards.
