Woke up to my Kamado Joe Jr stand tipped over. I’ve had the grill for about 4 years and built this custom stand. Has 2 locking casters on the bottom in which one doesn’t lock. Tipped over and fell about a foot off of my back patio last night in some high winds. I was expecting the grill and fire box to be in about 100 pieces but to my surprise, not one thing broke. Actually don’t understand how it’s possible

Time to start manufacturing and selling these protective stands then.
I kid, I kid.
Oh man, my stomach would’ve dropped. Looks like you need to smoke a miracle Christmas tenderloin asap
Luck be a lady tonight. I suspect it was mostly rotation energy and the mass of the jr. Worked in your favor
Its a xmas miracle 😝
Looks like the leg is cracked perhaps that may have led to the conditions that caused the fall or did that happen during the tumble?
Next time use bricks a round the wheels?
I have a similar homemade cart about 2 feet longer with a side burner built in…trust me with all the money involved, invest in four better really good locking casters. I have an outdoor bar that only had one working and it could spin like a center in basketball keeping his pivot foot down, but I could see it rolling right off the edge like that if the wind got it right.
Time to play the lottery…
Do you have plans for the stand?
😅 ever see a grown man cry? In this case of relief 😮💨
