Is this normal?

Hey y’all. I just got a vertuo machine and have used it once a day for a full week. Is this amount of buildup normal after the use I’ve put it through? If so do I just use water to wipe it down weekly?

So far I only used the pods that came with the machine box. Just purchased my sleeves and am excited to try out more flavors but this is annoying if it gets dirty this fast.
