Here to say that you're a lovely storyteller, Justine! β¨ I was raised on Food Network too! And this looks sooo delicious! Your cookbook sits open on my counter not only as practical inspo, but because it's part of my decor too! Beautiful layout. (Get her book, if you haven't yet!)
I love using mascerpone cheese. I always use it with cream cheese and heavy whipping cream for my frosting. I'm not a fan of overly sweet frosting so I use maybe a half cup of powdered sugar and some almond extract ππΎππΎ
Justine I made this tonight. This is my first recipe of yours. I followed your recipe to a tee and the only issue I had was that while the cake itself was right, the bottom of it burnt. I didnβt realise until I went to cut it. My oven is not fan forced so itβs hard to know timings but this usually doesnβt happen so Iβm baffled.

I remember that episode!!! And the sesame brittle flavor.
I watched that show, too! It introduced me to sticky toffee pudding and was obsessed with the ice cream flavor.
That competition lives in my mind rent-free for many years and always wondered about sticky toffee pudding and where I could get it.
Justine you did it again this looks absolutely phenomenal πππ
OMG, my two favorite desserts combined, you are a genius!
I made gingerbread sticky toffee pudding for Christmas dessert but I think this might be a replacement this year, soaked in Marsala or pedro ximinez
