Another chimed in: “Not sure about mustard and honey but halloumi and bacon’s got my heart.”

But others weren’t entirely convinced. One queried: “The thing with halloumi, which is delicious, it is so salty already and with the bacon, not sure.”

In response, another user suggested: “Agree. I’m trying this with paneer, its less salty cousin. Will report back.” They later updated: “It worked very well!”

A different commenter observed: “These look amazing – but potentially very salty. I’m hoping if I soak the halloumi for long enough it will work out.”

One person remarked: “Perfect, I have been looking for something for the vegetarians.” However, another quickly highlighted a glaring issue, noting: “Ah yes, nothing vegetarians love more than vegetarian things wrapped in bacon and air fried.”
