Now that looks like a place that feeds their residents well, with care and respect. Great work team

  2. Torte looks absolutely fantastic. Hope I retire there if I  survive the water wars.

Goddamn. This clearly isn’t where I worked. That’s phenomenal. But of course the portions can’t be too big with the “processing ability” of those people

Good for you chef. I like the thought of old folks at least eating well as they live out their last days.

Is this that super nice joint on West End and 75th? (NYC) You can see their dining room from the street and it looks super fancy.

I once spent New Years Eve in the hospital, and they gave us prime rib for dinner. It was really nice. I was surprised.

That’s the least a retirement home can do, my friend works at one and the place gets paid like $20,000 per month per resident.

  17. That chocolate cake is so good! I did the exact same plating at my last place, very popular.

Also remind me to go to this retirement community if I live long enough to go senile, the food looks fucking phenomenal.

I just had to place my 93 year old grandma in a dementia unit yesterday. To those who help feed the elderly and vulnerable, I salute you! Thank you for all you do, chefs.

My parents are in a pretty nice retirement place ($$$) and their food isn’t close to that good.  Your place must cost $$$$$$$$
