CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — A Lowcountry ministry is hosting its annual “Birthday Party for Jesus” event, complete with free gifts, food and other items for families and a surprise for the first 50 children.
Without Walls Ministry hosts the annual event on Christmas Day.
It kicks off this year at 11 a.m. at Greater St. Luke AME Church, located at 78 Gordon Street near Hampton Park.
Volunteers will distribute gifts for children, meals, clothes and blankets. Organizers say they will give away bicycles to the first 50 children who arrive.
