LOTS of lessons learned along the way, especially since this was my first time working with isomalt. As a hobby baker with extra time on my hands this holiday season, it was a fun project to focus on. But I think I’ll be content to cross it off my baking bucket list and never do it again. 😅
Inspiration from The Honey Blonde for the snow globe structure and Ann Clark for the snowman.

Looks beautiful!! Excellent job!
Wow! That is amazing, great job! 🤩
Wow!! Very nice!!! I made some a few years ago…. Not nearly as impressive!
Looks amazing! But I imagine it’s lots of work.
WOAH
It looks amazing and the design in the globe is adorable!! I don’t think I could bring myself to eat it though. Is there a way to preserve it and turn it into an ornament instead? 😅 great job!!!
A lot of work, but so cool! I wouldn’t want to eat it!
It may have been a lot of work, but it’s very cool. Is that sugar glass?
You nailed it, now you don’t ever have to do it again.
You nailed it! What was the eating experience like?
Suddenly I feel insufficient with my plans for pumpkin bread, custard and bars being made tomorrow.
My mind is blown. That is amazing!
Well, you did it, and it’s really beautiful, so you can check it off your last. Great job
Well they look good! I can see how that can be very labor intensive.
Incredible result! ☃️
They look so good and delicious!
Nonpareil snowflakes wow
I want to eat it layer by layer
How cool! You did a great job.
kids toy, christmas knick knack, actual snow globe.. so many possibilities if you step outside of baking with this and maybe make an etsy account, do one-off projects like this? because you have vision, it just maybe isn’t the right medium.. like, I would feel bad eating this because it’s a mini work of art.. but I would proudly display this as a christmas decoration, or even give it as a gift!
Wow it looks amazing ! I would brag about this for years lol
It’s so freaking cute though! I want a large one to make and use as a display all season, similar to a gingerbread house.
Whoa! That’s so cool!☃️
I am in awe it’s beautiful
They are wonderful! You’re a genius!!! But I completely understand you think it’s too much trouble. Thanks for showing us .
What a work of art! It looks like you put a ton of time and energy into these. I don’t blame you for checking that off the ol’ list and not revisiting.
Really stunning though!
But it’s badass and you can say you did it! Totes would buy it. Looks delicious as well 💯
That “glass” is incredibly clear, what a great job you did
How did they taste?
Why 3 cookies stacked and not 2?
Suggestion for less work next time — thinner cookies, and fewer. One solid base, one with a hole, and then “dome” the isomelt so it’s convex. You can put the cookies together and then the “glove” at the end.
At least in my mind, this works? I’m welcome to hear why it wouldn’t before myself or OP start to experiment 😅😅
Is it all edible – even the “glass”? Beautifully done!
How could anyone get themselves to eat that! It’s SO amazing!
That does look like a lot of work! So cute though! Great job!
Bravo. Super creative!
It’s great!!!
Id hate to get this because its so incredible id never want to eat it 😭
I feel like this is one tiktok video away from being able to sell them for like $100 each, at which point maybe it’s not too much work?
Front page rando: thats awesome, well done!
Imagine biting into one and it breaks into pieces and scatters those tiny little sugar pellets everywhere.
I love this!
Your verdict makes me think of this comment I saw on a NYT cooking cheesecake recipe I made recently: “I am 77 y. o., and do not have enough days left on this earth to make this multi step dessert.”
I bet you could sell these for $15 each at a bakery
How did you make the glass cover, is it edible?
Wow that is absolutely superb and inspiring.
Has anyone eaten one of these? I have always been curious if they taste good/are enjoyable to eat.
Sometimes you just have to make something to know you can. Nailed it!
damn wtf that’s cool as hell! holy shit good job that is creative and neat as fuck
