The Eastham Ferry Hotel, based on Ferry Road along the banks of the Mersey, will launch the menu this winter.
The offer is available throughout January and February at a special introductory price and features authentic Italian dishes crafted by Italian chef Paolo.
Paolo has worked closely with head chef Tom to create a menu that blends Italian tradition with the venue’s relaxed gastro-pub style.
The Italian set lunch menu is available Wednesday to Saturday from 12pm to 3.30pm, priced at £15.90 for two courses and £18.90 for three.
The menu will change weekly to showcase a variety of regional recipes.
Starters include wild mushroom and truffle ricotta bruschetta and charcoal grilled tomato soup with melted mozzarella.
Main courses feature gnocchi alla Sorrentina, ricotta and spinach ravioli with butter and sage, and fettuccine with Tuscan ragù.
Desserts include Sicilian cannoli and classic tiramisù.
Fresh pasta is made daily in-house.
To celebrate the launch, the hotel is offering free pasta-making classes led by chef Paolo every Saturday in January and February.
The classes run from 10am to 12pm and have a maximum of 10 spaces.

The Eastham Ferry Hotel team said: “It’s an opportunity to enjoy high-quality, traditional Italian food in a relaxed gastro-pub setting, where attention to detail and honest cooking take centre stage.
“At the heart of the Italian set lunch is a simple philosophy: doing things properly, every day.
“Pasta is made fresh in-house daily using traditional methods, never shortcuts.
“To complete the experience, all guests choosing the Italian set lunch are welcomed with warm, homemade focaccia, freshly baked in the Eastham Ferry kitchen and served to the table.
“It’s a small but meaningful gesture that reflects the generosity, warmth, and comfort of Italian hospitality.”
