MYRTLE BEACH — Myrtle Beach-based restaurant chain Crave Italian Oven and Bar is expanding with a third location on the Grand Strand, and this one will be tied to a new community development.

Crave, which currently has locations in Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach, plans to open its first store on the South Strand in the spring of 2027. It will be located in the master-planned SayeBrook Town Center.

Near the intersection of U.S. Highway 17 Bypass and S.C. Highway 544, SayeBrook will bring Crave’s popular Italian cuisine into its 730-acre community, offering residents and visitors the chance to taste the restaurant’s classics.

“This was part of the natural evolution of Crave over the past 10 years,” said Nick Vaugh, founding partner of Vaugh and Spadaccini Restaurant Group, “and the partnership with this amazing residential and commercial development is a perfect fit for our brand.”

The first Crave opened over a decade ago in a small Myrtle Beach strip mall before moving onto a larger location (7401 N. Kings Highway) earlier this year. It has another store in North Myrtle Beach (202 U.S. Highway 17 North). The group also owns Sol y Luna Latin Cantina in Carolina Forest and 357 Raw Coastal Bar at the Grande Dunes Marina.

Developed by The Jackson Companies, SayeBrook will feature Lowcountry-inspired homes and apartments with resort-style amenities. The Town Center offers a mix of shopping, dining and other services on the site.

Sayebrook is home to a Targer, Marshalls and Ulta Beauty. A Trader Joe’s opened there in September.

“Crave Italian Oven and Bar embodies that spirit, and their presence reinforces our commitment to building a Town Center where residents and visitors can gather, connect, and experience a true sense of place,” said Derek Harris, vice president of development for The Jackson Companies, in a statement. “We are thrilled to welcome Crave as a key contributor to the next chapter of SayeBrook’s growth.”
