If you are looking for another Christmas Eve Feast of the Fish idea, try a brodetto or savory seafood stew. I have several versions of seafood brodetto recipes in my cookbook, but this one is lighter, clearer and more traditional to me. You can find this kind of preparation with slight variations along the entire Northern coast of Italy. #LidiasRecipes #LidiasItaly #LidiasKitchen #LidiaBastianich #ItalianFood #LidiasTheArtofPasta #LidiasOliveOil

  1. Seafood is my favorite food having grown up on Long Island! I could get mussels off the rocks on the jetties. My mother cooked well with lemon and wine, just delicious. ❀

  2. I use sea scallops, striped sea bass, mussels and shrimp. Sea bass takes about 10 minutes per 1" filet so add it with the mussels at the end. On ce the mussels open it is done. Yummy
