We live in a small city in Portugal where the Pinhais cannery is located. Today we took my visiting MIL to the cannery tour, which comes with a tasting. The tour was lovely, though no one was working in the production room as they have ended production for the year. We tasted Nuri(a) horse mackerel in spicy tomato sauce, Pinhais sardines in tomato sauce, and Nuri(a) sardines in spicy tomato sauce. And a quick stop in the gift shop for my MIL's flight home. My favorite was the horse mackerel.

Edit: the Nuri sardines are in spicy oil, not tomato sauce
Everything looks awesome!!
Is there a story as to why Pinhais carries Olasagasti? Is it just one high quality producer recognizing another high quality producer?
So cool! I wish I could go there. Nuri has been my fav for a long time
I’ve never seen Nuri’s horse mackerel! I’d love to try it if I can find it online somewhere. Anyone seen it at a US shop?
is the fish do fiery it requires a fire extinguisher in the room ?
