Dialed in and cooked 15 steaks, roughly 19 pounds of meat, for the fam this year. Prime-graded and reverse seared on cast iron. Took a little over an hour.

Woah this is beautiful I love the consideration for everyone’s individual preferences

15 steaks reverse seared on a cast iron? You are a saint. Does your house still smell like grease?

Perfectly cooked by the way. Those babies look beautiful

Soooo if someone were to ask you, “how do I get an invite to your family’s Christmas gathering?”, what would your answer be?

    Hypothetically, of course.

And you can make a killer hash for breakfast with leftovers!

  8. Nice Job from a guy who was the head cook in a steakhouse in the mid 1970’s.

    Really like the presentation.

Looks amazing. My only concern is how cold they started to get by the time people picked it out and started to eat. I really don’t like cold steak. 😐

Assuming you did the reverse part of the reverse sear simultaneously, how did you track each steak’s temp?

Looks like you had some steak sammies?

The presentation looks amazing. 19lbs of prime is a beautiful thing

Wonderfully done! How did you keep them from turning stone cold?

This is the type of shit that basically solidifies being “well off”. The steaks are expensive enough but the presentation with a fucking label for everything is crazy lol

How do you recommend cooking multiple steaks in a cast iron in quick succession. Do you just keep the pan piping hot and skip the butter basting?

  18. Lintobean

    Yum!!!

What temperature did you take them out of the oven before searing?
