🎄 Merry Christmas from the Pasta Grannies team! 🎄
To celebrate, we joined Maria and Erminia as they prepared traditional cappelletti in broth—a beloved Romagna specialty. As they say, they can’t remember a single year without cappelletti, the classic Christmas Day primo in this region. What are your holiday traditions? We’d love to hear—share them in the comments! Want to try making their cappelletti at home? You can find the recipe on www.pastagrannies.com

OMG SOO YUMMYYYY

Merry Christmas everybody.❤
Merry Christmas❤❤❤❤❤❤
When I was young, my family used to gather around the table one evening before Christmas and make cappelletti. My Italian aunts and uncles all sat around the table and made an evening of it. Christmas Day there was a big pot of cappelletti in broth on the stove for guests to enjoy. My grandfather was from Farrara Italy.
this channel brings me so much joy. these grannies are so precious, they remind me of my own grandma. I feel like her philosophy always was that troubles seem lighter and every day is made better by a shared, comforting meal. and seeing all those delicious meals, I wish I had a seat at that table! Merry christmas to you!
With that filling and that broth, those Cappelletti must be truly delicious! Auguri, buone feste! ❤
Hugs and love to all the Pasta Grannies family!!!
Buon Natale tutti!
I love seeing these traditional meals, and it certainly looks like it'll warm you up on a cold day.
Happy festivities to everyone.
how she enjoys the applause ❤
Had them yesterday. Such a comforting and delicious family tradition!
They can be made well in advance and stored in the freezer. Add to the broth still frozen and allow for a longer cooking time. A part of the family gets together on a Sunday in early Dezember to make them, so it's not a huge strain to serve them on Christmas day (as a primo piatto, mind you!).
Espectacular!!!!
I would have to start that project the weekend before 🙂 That looks fantastic.
What a beautiful kitchen for to beautiful ladies ! Merry christmas everybody !
Bravo!
Bravo!
The pasta cutter name ("Sprunela" in our dialect) literally means Little Spur.
I believe that Pasta Grannies had something to do with the Italian cuisine recently receiving the UNESCO cultural heritage award. You’ve shown the world that it’s not just spaghetti and meatballs! Buon Natale
Good video
COMPLIMENTI per i bellissimi video…un modo autentico ed unico di raccontare le nostre tradizioni culinarie.

Ah, this really makes me miss my mother.
This episode absolutely convinced me that I have to join Pasta Grannies after seeing them with the whole cherry tomato’s from the freezer! We are vegetarians which is tough with these recipes – I have the cookbook- but the techniques are always interesting.
What a wonderful service this channel is doing for viewers & participants
Thankyou so much!
Gino and Domenico are a bit too slim. Do they eat only at Christmas?
Beautiful! And beautiful sweet people! Long life to everyone! And Marry Christmas and Happy New Year 2026!!!
Ooooh…the kisses at the end was my favorite part of the whole video, but I sure would love a bowl of that brodo! It looked fabulous with those delicate, but extravagant, little pockets of goodness! Buon Natale, Vicky! And thank you for the wonderful videos! TFS, Sharon🤗❤️🥣🎄

Pasta grannies thank you so much for the work you guys do 🎉🎉🎉 Merry Christmas 🎄
This is part of my family’s memories from my youth! We loved these time consuming cappelletti in brodo! I cannot believe that stove and hearth, though. I love the pups toasting themselves in front of the fire. I love these ladies! And the wine.. Merry Christmas! Buon Natalè!
Delizioso!
The old man looks like Capannelle! (a character actor, check I soliti ignoti, he was the Pasta e fagioli eater at the end).
Always heard about the slapping of the pasta sheet, but never heard what it signifies for the pasta…is it thinness?
I've always loved Italy. Such amazing culture.
gosh i love this channel so much
