A little beef broth so the wine isn’t too strong and helps tie it together

I highly recommend to add in 1 cup beef broth and 1 Lipton beefy onion soup mix! Also season the roast meat with creole seasoning and brown meat on skillet for 3-4 mins on each side before placing into the crockpot!

I bought another small roast to add to it The one that comes in the package is pretty small. I also threw in another van of baby carrots since my kids are picky about vegetables but will eat those.

I always add a can of corn and green beans. Really bulks it up.

Thyme is my favorite. About a teaspoon for this sized roast. I’m also a fan or oregano, garlic powder, and a tiny bit of hot sauce or fresh cracked pepper to really bring out the flavor. Kosher salt as well.

I dice serano chilies for almost all slow cooker dishes. You can use hotter or milder depending on your taste. Gives a lovely kick…

This makes me wonder why people use a packet and don’t just choose their own ingredients. The slow cooker melds everything and surely you can pick better quality food and also exactly what you want.

Chop up some garlic cloves and toss ’em in.

Mmm. Beef Roast it is. Add more vegetables you will. Seasoning you need. Good it will taste. If not, to the dark side you will fall.

Beef stock, more potatoes, sweet onions, red wine, mushrooms (at the end).

Any chance I could convince you to buy these items separately? The veggies are not going to be good. Anyway, 2 tbs Worcester and 1 tbs Dijon mustard with some beef broth would be my best.

Not that

I wonder how much that costs compared to buying your own ingredients.
