Today’s ration, and tomorrow too. More spaghetti with meat sauce. Not exactly shitty but several people asking why i haven’t posted in days. Suppose its shitty in that everything expired in 2023 or earlier the Parmesan is a dark brown because it expired 2023 and opened since February.
Bonus pictures. Used the rendered off sausage fat mixed with dogfood to give my dogs some bonus calories. And some canned tuna and raw eggs for my barn cats. Dogs also get an egg each, this on top of their normal rations.

Dude, can I ask what you’re feeding your pets? You need some non out of date food but so do they? I know you’re away from towns etc but is there an animal shelter that can help you?

Are you able to access proper food items ? Are finances & transportation issues for you ! Are you a long way from a grocery store ? Plus these pets aren’t cheap to maintain.

If you’re eating expired food you should not be feeding animals. The line has to be drawn somewhere. Like if you can’t find an apartment because you have a dog. The dog needs to be rehomed. The common sense option is not just be homeless.
