I like my coffee and creamer 50/50, which means 300+ calories in a cup of coffee, but I haven’t found a sub for creamer that I liked and could use consistently. Using half of a protein shake (85 cals) has kept my eating on track and cut out the use of creamer completely! You can always add something like caramel or mint for additional flavor.

  1. Honestly love the protein shake in (cold) coffee — be warned that it’s often hit-or-miss with hot coffee!  Warm is generally fine but it gets weird if you have piping hot coffee

    yup this is what i do too! i actually just add 2 pods of an espresso concentrate right into my protein shake my go to is the caramel one from premier protein and sometimes i add a few splashes of a low cal chai concentrate too
