Visited NYC with spouse for a couple of days in Dec '25 and decided on Le Jardinier for lunch on our last day. The NYC location apparently lost its * a while ago. Nevertheless, we really enjoyed the experience. They had prix fixe for 2 or 3 courses pp excluding dessert but since we were not very hungry we decided to order a la carte and share.
Bread service was complimentary. We each got a freshly baked mini baguette and another smaller softer bread with unsalted butter.
In addition we each received a small cup of spiced carrot soup as a complimentary offering.
Burrata was excellent and accompanied by complementary flavors.
Ricotta agnolitti was delicate and rich at the same time with pickled pearl onions to cut through. I felt it could have used a textural contrast somewhere though.
We ordered a mocktail and a non alcoholic wine from their menu.
For dessert, we shared a white chocolate and pear tart which was also nice.
The service was attentive and staff were courteous. The interior deco with the greenery, marble tops and lighting made for a wonderful ambiance.
