Chuck us the recipe mate, I can’t get a kebab where I am, and every “fakeaway” version I’ve tried has been basically a meatloaf and fails mainly on texture.

That looks like a pretty good imitation.

(I have forever been trying to recreate the glory of the kebab I used to get after doing 20 laps of the pool as a kid… kebab meat, pitta, BBQ sauce and all the salad, some good fries and garlic sauce on the side)

Theres a new viral doner recipe if u google it. Involving flattening mince mix between parchment paper & rolling it up and baking in oven till cooked.

How could the recipe be made to adhere to a BBQ rotisserie spit do we think???

I’ve cooked similar baked recipes before and it’s worth chucking it all in a hot pan for a few mins once you’ve sliced it. Gives all the edges a nice bit of colour and crust

  6. Is that ass donner?

Joking looks good. Try the viral recipe with flattening it in baking paper
