Can’t believe I’m baking so many considering I was just a newbie last year. I bought paper bread bags to gift these to family & friends. I just got a really nice bread slicer and am wondering if I should pre slice them to make it easier for them to eat or should I leave them whole. How much longer do you think it will last if I don’t slice?

I’d advise against slicing to allow your recipient to slice as thick or thin as they please. It will also allow them to appreciate the beauty of those loaves!
Additionally, if you’re concerned someone doesn’t have a bread knife to slice it with, you can always offer to slice it for them.
Unsliced! I would also provide instructions on how to keep the loaf fresh (i.e. don’t put the loaf in fridge or it’ll dry out, only slice and freeze for long term, best if enjoyed within 2-3 days, etc.). Good looking loaves!
Don’t slice. They still can reheat it and have it taste fresh
No.
No slice
Do not
How long did this take you?
You might take the age of the recipient into account. Some might have trouble grappling with football-size loaves, or so my arthritis informs me. Otherwise, no slice.
I bake hundreds of these and often give them away the next day. The only time I slice them is when I know they don’t have a good bread knife or that their knife skills are terrible. If you do slice any, put them in a plastic bag like you see at the store.
Your bread looks awesome. If it tastes as great as they look in the picture, you’re welcome to cover for me when I’m on vacation next time. Very nice job!
Not unless they ask for it that way and you have an electric slicer machine.
Don’t slice. I prefer to do it myself. Make exceptions for people who you know might have trouble slicing it themselves.
I slice some of the loaves. If they are going to delivery people, etc, I always slice, so they can take a piece while traveling!
I would leave them whole to show their beauty. I think they will stay more fresh unsliced too
Wow all of these look amazing!! Great job! And yea I agree, don’t slice. They will love this as a gift:)
They look so good! Can you please share your recipe and if you live in a cold climate? I live in Canada and can’t seem to find a recipe that fits with our cold weather!
