Did you use the right proportions? Seems a bit dry

Don’t still happen to have a picture of the box do you? I’d love to see what the recipe is.

Think you call them crock pots in America? But the best and easiest fudge I have ever made is slow cooker fudge couple tins of condensed milk then whst5ever choc/flavours your gonna use stir every 10-15 mins for about 1- 2 hours get a tray lay with grease proof paper and leave in fridge for a few hours get out ,coat in powder sugar if desired and cut into pieces and enjoy.

You’re supposed to add ingredients to the kit

You can crumble it use it for ice cream toppings!

I’m not sure what you made, but it wasn’t fudge. I’m sorry. Do you need a freaky easy and good recipe?

I don’t meqn to be rude but why use a kit for fudge? It’s practically just milk, cream, sugar, syrup. 3 of thos eingredients are supposed to be fresh to my knowledge.

Classic fudge is just chocolate chips and condensed milk, what was even in this kit???

Claire Saffitz has a great YT video on making fudge, very thorough and informative. You should check it out.

Fudge is making Ben Shapiro’s wife’s box look like the Florida Everglades.

One half stick of butter, 3 tbsp of cocoa powder, 2 cups of granulated sugar, 2/3 cup of evaporated milk, around 1/3 of a small jar of peanut butter, vanilla extract, pinch of salt.

Melt the butter while whisking in the cocoa powder like you’re making a roux. Once melted, add the sugar, vanilla, salt and evaporated milk and keep whisking until it comes to a boil. Allow it to boil for exactly 4 minutes (whisking the whole time. After 4 minutes, remove it from the heat. Immediately stir in the peanut butter. Quickly pour the liquid fudge into whatever dish you’re using. Best goddamn fudge you’ll ever eat.

1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1 can sweetened condensed milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – melt together in small sauce pot, once smooth, pour into greased (or parchment paper lined – this is my preference bc easier cleanup) 8×8 pan, pop in fridge until solid.

You can bury it with my attempt at yeast rolls from Christmas.

  16. Sweetened condensed milk. Chocolate chips. Done.

Recipes with molten sugar can be unforgiving (fudge, caramel, etc). The properties of sugar change dramatically with temperature and you really need to use a candy thermometer and keep a close eye on them.
