Forgive me stupidity, I am new to this. What is the nozzle on the right side?

I’ve used the big brother triple grouphead version whilst working as a barista. Man that thing was a beast and so easy to use even when pumping out 100+ coffees an hour. The ease of use with the steam wand switch and automatic flushing etc. was amazing.
Very jealous that you have the single group at home. Look after it well and I hope you enjoy it!

when you have all your beans in the hopper like that, how do you get the correct dose for your coffee serving?
