Monte Cristo*

My *non-traditional version of a Monte Cristo: ham and Swiss (no turkey) on homemade Dutch oven bread, served with maple syrup. The batter was one egg, a little boiled custard, whole milk, vanilla, and a dash each of salt and cinnamon.
