First time ever buying something like this for myself, I’ve already planned some Luna azul, Sauvignon blanc, and espresso martinis leading up to new years but how tf so I prepare something like this?

Personally, I have a large microwaveable bowl with a lid, I grab a cluster or 2 and put them in. Put some water on the bottom, just enough to cover it, then I’ll add some old bay. Put the lid on and microwave for mayne 5 minutes on high. I’d check every 2 mins or so to make sure they’re not overlooking because they’ll absolutely dry out. Or, if you have a pot for the stove with a steamer basket, same thing 👍 and don’t forget to warm up some butter!

I would bring them up low and slow easy to overcook frozen crab

Just had some for dinner! We boiled it in a hot pot with veggies

defrost and boil/steam for 10 minutes. it’s important that when the water starts boiling you turn down the heat for it be just under a rolling boil.

Steam for about 12 minutes. Take a stock pot and cover the bottom with water or beer. Throw them in on high and sprinkle as much Old Bay on them. Melt butter with lemon(add a splash of beer if you want.). If you have a put with a steamer basket then even better. I steam crab legs very frequently and this is the best way.

Steam, shell, and scoff (with a good herby mayo)

Sprinkle with Old Bay, steam it, dunk in melted butter and lemon juice.
