Good work! I am also recovering and ate 5000kcal today, feeling a little guilty but I know it is one step to recover!

I hate it when unqualified people try demonizing tracking calories and macros to people recovering from an ED. Though that usually just stems from them projecting

Everyone’s different and in cases such as yours I assume using a scale helps a lot. Removing bad connotations from calorie tracking is definitely huge progress and something that can be of big benefit if you ever decide to start going to the gym in the future. Of course I hope you’ll get to a point where you can completely manage without tracking calories but I think it’s important to note that there’s a ton of people, who never had an ED, and nevertheless track their calories just because they prefer it that way.

Most importantly take it slow, do whatever works best for you and don’t get hung up on accuracy when tracking calories (It all balances out over time). I’m glad to see that you’re doing good.

    Also don’t the car

While I understand fighting your own ED and, don’t overdo it.

If nothing else, it seems incredibly uncomfortable eating this volume of food. If you ever feel sick of it, I reccomend eating fattier dishes instead for less food volume. Use oil. Cook with butter. Throw cheese on it. Everything you did to lose weight. Do the opposite
