Crave Italian Oven & Bar is coming to Myrtle Beach’s south strand with its third location opening in the SayeBrook Town Center by the spring of 2027.
The Vaugh Spadaccini Hospitality Group of Myrtle Beach operates two other restaurants offering Italian cuisine — Crave Italian Oven & Bar near 76th Avenue North in Myrtle Beach and Crave Italian – North Myrtle Beach at 202 Highway 17 N. in Surfwood Plaza.
Co-founder of Vaugh Spadaccini Hospitality Group Nick Vaugh said Crave Italian Oven & Bar South Strand will be visible as soon as drivers turn into Sayebrook Town Center, across the street from the new Trader Joes that opened in September.
“That development, both commercial and residential, is growing. Great local clientele, in addition to the influx of tourists,” Vaugh said. “Our partnership with the Jackson Companies is just a natural fit. Two great brands and we’re eager.”
Construction will begin in the new year with a spring 2027 opening planned.
The Jackson Companies, also a family owned Myrtle Beach-based enterprise, owns nearly 400 acres surrounding the SayeBrook Town Center that are being developed into residential communities, complemented by the shopping center and upcoming dining opportunities.
Vaugh said the Vaugh Spadaccini Hospitality Group and The Jackson Companies share the same values and he looks forward to their partnership. The SayeBrook Town Center includes other national brands such as Petco, Marshalls, Target and Ulta Beauty.
The Vaugh Spadaccini Hospitality Group also operates the popular venues Sol y Luna Latin Cantina in Carolina Forest and 357 Raw Coastal Bar at the Grande Dunes Marina.
In addition to Crave Italian Oven & Bar South Strand, Vaugh said the group will also break ground on 357 Brewers, a sister concept of 357 Raw Coastal Bar. 357 Brewers will be a “waterfront destination” at the Grande Dunes Marina, constructed by Mile Marker 357 of the Intracoastal Waterway.
“It’s more than just a brewery. We’ll have full bars, liquor drinks, national brands. As far as beers, we’ll probably have a lineup of 12 beers of our own,” he said.
He said the brewery will be a “pretty special” place.
“There’s going to be spaces upon spaces for guests to enjoy. Beautiful natural setting overlooking the marina. Great views, great sunsets, band stage, pavilion outdoor bars,” Vaugh said.
He added the group spent the last decade building businesses in the Grand Strand and they are excited to continue growing alongside the community.
