RECIPE
✨ TURKISH LENTIL PATTIES
🥣 Ingredients
2 cups red lentils
1 cup fine bulgur
1 onion
1,5 tbsp tomato paste
1,5 tbsp red pepper paste
½ cup olive oil
1 tsp cumin,paprika,black pepper, red pepper flakes
2 tbsp salt
1 lemon’s juice
Parsley and green onion
👩🍳 Instructions
Wash the red lentils
Cook them with 4 cups of water
Remove the foam
Chop all the greens and the onion
When the red lentils soften, add the bulgur and close the pot lid
Let it rest for 20 minutes
Add the olive oil to the pan
Add onion
When the onions are cooked, add the tomato paste and spices
Add the mixture to the lentils
Wait for the mixture to cool
Once it cools down, add the lemon juice and greens, mix well
Shape them
