Fantastic meal at 63 Clinton to close out the year. Was initially disappointed to see it was a “best of 2025” menu rather than what was on the website at the time (feat. congee as final savory course, corn pudding in December), but the meal exceeded my expectations.

Service was casual but very attentive. The ambience is a little warehouse chic, but given the relatively low (entry) price point seemed reasonable.

Highlights were the breakfast taco, the caviar hand roll (supplement), kumamoto oyster with habanada aguachile, the unseasonable corn pudding with clam, and the goat milk ice cream with honeycomb and caviar – one of the most inventive desserts I’ve ever had.

I would skip the wagyu Sando supplement next time. It was fine, but completely out of place. And I do think that a prawn congee as the final savory course is a let down, although it was indeed a delicious congee.

Highly recommend!

Just went myself about a week ago. Different menu but a delicious and welcoming experience. One of my favorite meals all year.

For all the razzle dazzle of other starred establishments in NYC, 63 Clinton is the one I recommend to friends looking to try a tasting menu.

Food is elevated but with flavors that most people are familiar with, service is great, and all at a low price point (it used to be even cheaper at about $90 a few years back!)

Dollar for quality, I think it’s maybe the best value fine dining experience in New York.
