MAHT

Opened November 10

MAHT is Chef Kevin Lee’s second restaurant and a bold addition to the dining scene at NW 23rd and Walker. An American steakhouse with Korean twists, MAHT flips the concept of Lee’s first restaurant, Birdie’s, combining classic steakhouse dishes with Korean flavors, marinades, and spices. The name MAHT means “flavor” in Korean, reflecting Lee’s goal of showcasing his culture while creating approachable, highly flavorful dishes. Housed in the former Drake seafood restaurant, MAHT quickly gained popularity, making reservations difficult to secure. While the menu includes Denver steak, glazed lamb chops, and pan-seared scallops with kimchi risotto, one of the most popular items is a reimagined Caesar salad. Desserts like bingsu, featuring shaved frozen milk and fresh toppings, round out the experience.

Oklahoma City chef and Food Network veteran Kevin Lee opened his second restaurant, MAHT, an American steakhouse with Korean twists, quickly becoming a popular culinary destination.
