Overnight Challah Hack for Busy Moms | No More Late-Night Baking!

No more staying up late after a challah event just to bake! ๐Ÿ˜ด๐Ÿž
I tried something new โ€” after braiding my challahs, I placed them in the fridge for a slow overnight riseโ€ฆ and to my surprise, they proofed beautifully without overproofing!

This is a total game changer for busy moms and anyone juggling work, family, and prep.
You get perfectly risen challahs โ€” without the late-night bake.

Whether youโ€™re preparing for Shabbat, a simcha, or a community challah event, this tip will save you time and energywhile still delivering gorgeous, fluffy challah.

๐Ÿ“Œ Save this for your next bake โ€” your future self will thank you!

  2. Hi, theyโ€™re gorgeous! Did you decrease the amount of yeast since you used cold fermentation? Why does it come out different when you put dough in refrigerator before braiding it?

  3. I have wished so much to have challah on shabbat, but because of gluten intolerance, I cannot have it. I have tried to use King Arthur gluten-free flour, and the result is always dense and then a rock by the next day ๐Ÿ˜ช Shabbat is just not the same without Challah! Do you have any suggestions?
