New Year’s Eve is right around the corner, and restaurants across the city are celebrating with next-level menus and plenty of bubbly to welcome 2026.

It goes without saying that 2025 has definitely been… a year. Whether it was one of your best or one you’re ready to leave in the rear view, it’s still a reason for celebration.

While some people will be downing bottles of bubbly at the club, others prefer a more food-forward approach to the holiday, and Toronto’s restaurants are ready to respond, offering elegant prix fixe menus and drink specials until the ball drops.

From swanky steakhouses to neighbourhood wine bars, here are 10 restaurants perfect for your New Year’s Eve 2026 celebrations.

PUNCH

This British-Indian fusion restaurant at Le Germain Hotel Mercer is more than just a very pretty face: the food packs a serious punch, too. To welcome 2026, they’re offering two options priced at $95 per person for the early seating or $135 for late, with your choices of two starters, two mains, two sides and a dessert.

Nobu Toronto

What better occasion than a new year to finally try the one-of-a-kind Japanese cuisine at the Toronto location of this world-famous chain? On New Year’s Eve, you can dine on a six-course Omakase menu priced at $240 per person. Hey, it’s a special occasion!

Bar Eugenie

Easily one of the hottest openings in Toronto this year, so it’s only fair that this Harbord Village bar and restaurant should be having an epic celebration to ring in 2026. They’ll be serving dinner a la carte alongside discounted sparkling wines and Bellinis to get 2026 off on the right foot.

Radici Project

This Little Italy fine dining establishment serves a mouthwatering blend of Japanese and Italian cuisines every day, but on Dec. 31, it’s offering an extra-special tasting menu curated by Executive Chef Emiliano Del Frate for $180 per person.

Harbour Sixty Steakhouse

This swanky steakhouse in the heart of downtown Toronto debuted an impressive multimillion-dollar makeover in 2025, and to put a cap on an already exciting year, it’s also hosting a selection of special prix fixe dinner seatings on New Year’s Eve, which range in price from $189 a person to $289.

Linny’s

The party is always alive on Ossington, which is only one of the reasons that make this steakhouse a perfect spot to dine on New Year’s Eve. Here, you can opt between a $135 early seating or $155 main seating featuring all of the staples that earned the restaurant recognition as one of North America’s best steakhouses.

Animl Steakhouse

King West may appeal more to the clubbing crowd on New Year’s Eve, but anyone interested in a sleek, chic steakhouse experience will find it at this Studio 54-inspired spot. An early seating on the big night will offer à la carte, while the later seating, priced at $250 a person, features a four-course meal to ring in the new year.

Occhiolino

If the Christmas shopping hangover has your wallet in a pinch, but you still want to send 2025 off with a next-level meal, this Italian restaurant in Little Italy has you covered. On Jan. 31, you’ll be able to score a three-course feast with your choice of antipasti, pasta and a special dessert for $65 a head.
