My brother has been practicing making Smashburger for 6 months for his food truck.
Happy to help where I can bro. 80/20 beef, two slices of cheese per patty, and a Martin's sesame seed bun.

Looks sick what cheese is he using ? I’m doing the same and always curious what type of American people choose to go with. Looks awesome !

Personally too many pickles, thick ass onion on the bottom? And the bottom bun too thin. Besides that sign me up

Is it 16$ ?

Never burger over the onion. Almost as bad as mayo instead of mustard.
Fryphax
This is whack as fuck.
Huge ass pickle pile.
Unmelted Cheese
Fat Onion slice on botton
Tiny bottom bun
Way too tall to bite.
Plus the patties look cooked to hades.

Truthfully, I’d eat the hell out of that burger, but the patties seem kinda thick for a smash, and if you can’t get nice, thin, flat onion slices, try just fixing them up like McDonald’s and White Castle do
Icy_Yak5218
Looks awful. Beef isnt nearly smashed enough, no crispy edges. Uneven cheese melt. Look at that fucking raw onion ring. Next

That’s a nice burger when you got a few people coming over on the weekend. Not as great when you’re expecting people to pay $20 for it.

Slice the pickles and onions thinner. Add less pickles. Put the onion on top of the patties. Melt the cheese onto the patties. Then we can talk.
Teestow21
I like how the tomatoes ain’t touching the onions
Goudinho99
Far too tall for a smash. How thick are the patties?
shaved-yeti
Unnecessarily large pile of pickles. Gargantuan chunk of onion. Cheese isn’t _melted_, and these patties aren’t _smashed,_ so much as just small.
This is a double cheeseburger with extra extra pickles and onion. I’m sure it’s tasty, but a smash burger it isn’t.
Keep practicing.

Not trying to be a dick but 6 months to get this result is crazy. Too many pickles and I’d be aggravated to bite into a 3/4” onion slab and I love onions. The cheese looks plastic man

A burger is about the meat, this has too much other stuff on it. Pickles should be an add on, its not the main ingredient. And please dont post this on onion hate.
The base is solid, meat looks well done, but melt the cheese more. And get a very very good sauce, since smash burgers need that. And it is a smash burger, no need to turn it into a tower. You can keep this burger as an option, but it shouldnt be the main burger. Also get one with just tomatie, onion and salad. A bacon option Etc.
