Light yet complex. Velvety on the initial taste with a flowery expression. Soy sauce on the back palette which surprised me. A wine of dichotomy that kept unfurling through the night. I would have been smarter if I had decanted prior to coming to the restaurant stupid is as stupid does. 94-95.

I get soy sauce notes all the time especially in aged Bordeaux, more often in right bank. Is this common? Does this mean the wine is a bit past its prime?
