New Orleans native Charlie Andrews demonstrates how to make a Red Velvet cake from scratch. It’s a mild and slightly tangy chocolate cake that gets its bright Red Color from Red food coloring or beet root along with the tanginess of the buttermilk, vinegar and baking soda.
