Just bought this but wasn't sure if I should add butter and warm it in a pan with this sauce and then pour it over the wings?

Or just put this on top of the wings without anything else?

Update

I added a small amount of butter (maybe 20grams) to half of this bottle on a low/med temp. The end result was fantastic, absolutely gorgeous!

This bottler was £1.75 from Waitrose (240ml I think)

But it’s hard to tell without seeing the ingredients. Lots of buffalo sauces are “ready-made”, meaning it’s already hot sauce mixed with butter. For example, traditional buffalo sauce is equal parts Frank’s Red Hot (just a standard hot sauce) mixed with butter in a pan and whisked together until emulsified. Don’t overcook it, just heat it through

  2. It’s already pretty thick I wouldn’t add butter

[They sell Frank’s in the UK.](https://www.waitrose.com/ecom/products/franks-redhot-original-peppersauce/583123-82661-82662?srsltid=AfmBOoqsF_KeP_iZhaCzof0eziMgNUPWsfX4ZNIumKMkU3c2SKxtn1es) Grab a bottle and put it in a small pot with some butter on low heat. Let the butter melt slowly and whisk together before serving. I do 1/4 cup Frank’s to 2 tbsp butter for 10-20 wings. Throw in a dash of Worcestershire and cayenne pepper to take it up a notch. It’s really easy to make and will taste better than anything you can get pre-mixed out of a jar. Give it a shot.
