You don’t , it will be a pointless battle

Dish soap and water works pretty good

If you need to use something stronger make sure it’s safe for aluminum.

Yup. Palmolive and water. I use spray 9 for stubborn stains and then rinse with clean water afterwards. You’ll find that over time the build up is inevitable. Depends on how much you use.

Uhh.. sometimes I wipe it down with a Clorox wipe.

Take the top of the smokestack off. It just lifts up. Soap and water are okay. Rotate the rest of the top off as you can get a grease coating that makes that task difficult in cooler weather. That is terrible to fix once it starts getting cold.

I’ve only had my Big Joe for ten years, so I haven’t needed to clean it yet. But when I do I’ll let you know. 😀

Check out Q-Swiper wipes. I picked them up from Lowe’s, I think. They’re fantastic for getting grease off the side tables of my stand, and cleaning the grill itself. They also work really damn well on the stainless steel for the gas grill.

  8. Clean?!?!? That’s where the flavor comes from brother

I wipe the exterior down with disinfectant wipes.

If I have that drip from the upper damper I’ll usually wipe off my grill at the end of a cook while it is warm. That’s about it

I use simple green and a paper towel.
