I love the Quorn Meatless Pieces and use them often in a chicken(less) pot pie. The chunks are perfect for that. However, I've just run across a recipe for soup which calls for the chicken to be shredded though. Has anyone done that successfully? I'd hate to have them go mushy on me or to just dissolve.
Here is the recipe, for tax purposes
Edited to add: Maybe I should just let them thaw a bit and then chop them up? I may have answered my own question, unless anyone has a better idea

I’ve chopped them up into smaller pieces to make a buffalo chicken style pizza. I cooked them first and then cut them with a knife or possibly a slap chop, I don’t recall exactly.
I just made a marry me chicken soup using the Quorn chunks. Nuked them for a few minutes and then diced them up and dropped them in my soup. They held up fine.
I find the pieces themselves are too big so I thaw or quick microwave the pieces and chop chop chop!
I shred them to make “chicken” enchiladas. Just thaw in fridge and then they shred apart pretty easily in your hands.
