My tomato plant took a bit of a fall and snapped at the main stem, almost 3/4 through. Ive tied it together and restaked it but is it in vain will it bounce back?

Worth a try, they are resilient plants.

It’s choking. Cut the cords! String doesn’t have to be tight to offer support. Wrap some 1 inch wide long fabric strips around the stem with some chopsticks or other splint.
