Hello everyone! I’m Ryusei.
Today, I introduced Iwashi no kabayaki(鰯の蒲焼き). If I have a chance to make a meal, I may select this dish. This dish is so delicious and similar to Unagi(eel). The rich sauce and deep fried sardine are perfect! The tip is deep-frying the sardines in a short time over high heat. I hope you’ll enjoy Iwashi no kabayaki(鰯の蒲焼き).

My sardines are frozen, never fresh, and when they defrost, they become to soft and the flesh is not firm like yours, is there a way i can keep the flesh firm, do you know any tips you can share? you did such a beautiful job, thank you for sharing this.
Fish isn't fresh
Looking for this spice online I see 'Shichimi Togarashi'. Is it the same?
Hi Ryusei. It's Rafael from Rio de Janeiro here. I'm following you since your first video. I know this is a not recent video but I got a question. I heard you said that the rice to this recipe is a japan grain rice in your Kabayaki right? But, it's the same rice to make sushi (sticky)? It's a different preparation or is another tyoe of rice?
That looks delicious. im going to try making that
🤣
Looks yummy
Bjr super mais pas de traduction française alors pas possible essayer les magnifiques recettes dommage

I will try this with Baltic herring. Looks very good.
Amo comida j aponesa, mas sempre parece muito complicada…amo!!
Siempre quise encontrar un video de comida japonesa auténtica, todo lo que mire en su canal me parece muy delicioso , guardaré sus recetas , saludos desde México, y gracias !!
Never thought i would have crave for sardines in my life!
Exceptional. 🐟🐟🐟🐟👏👏👏👏
Thank you for this lovely video! Here in Calcutta, we also eat sardines (I think it is an Indian version?), but with the head and often in a light mustard gravy. I would love to try this at home next time. Since you explained it so lucidly, it does not seem too difficult, so I think I'll cut the fish myself, too. ^_^ P.S. Hope you reach your subscribers goal soonest! <3 Thank you again, and love from India!
I think you are great with the camera but the way you talk sounds well like A.I. It is no fun to me. When you asked for 100k subs this year you sounded like a person, and I thought "Huh why doesn't he talk like that all video?" My thoughts anyway. Great video and looks delicious!
Thank you very much! Ohkey!
ok!
You sound like Francis from “Cooking with dog”
Thank you brother for sharing such a wonderful receipe. Good Luck

Oh that looks so delicious…. I could eat it as a whole being that fresh. Your foods look so delicious forgot to subscribe earlier on.
😢What is the sauce?
Thank you for such detailed and useful video! Will try to prepare some sardines soon
Looks amazing! Should’ve watched this before making sardines. But I feel like you would need a very sharp knife to prepare it like this.
Can you send "Shichimi" and "Sansho" to the UK?
