

With intel from u/Tinned_Fish_Tyler , this is the can I chased down at my local QFC (after learning from a few other folks here who said it was available at Kroger's stores). The fish is average for yellowfin ventresca — very firm, rich meat that can't be shredded easily with a fork — but the real star is the Spanish orange flavor. Unlike most "lemon" sardines with nearly undetectable lemon flavor, this tuna actually has a delicious and distinctive orange zing (that darker piece in the middle of the can is a slice of orange peel).
I ate the first half of this can in salad with a drizzle of Carandini Orange Glaze with Balsamic Vinegar, which enhanced the orange flavor even more. Stay tuned for how I eat the rest of the can… inspired by Tyler's current video! 😉
