I was inspired by a picture I saw on Pinterest of the pinecone cookies and wanted to give it a shot.
I used Sally's recipe for the gingerbread and filled them with cinnamon buttercream (except for the squirrels).

I made Sallys gingey recipe for the first time this year .. it was deeeelicious. Got so many compliments on the ‘spiceyness’ of them. Huge win for my baking …. yours look amazing with that cream in them 😋😋
