I forgot to mention, take out the chocolate salami out of the fridge at least half an hour before serving. If it's too cold, it will crumble, and then nobody will actually love you 😁
this looks nice.. gonna try this.. 😀
sausage
The biscuit cracker – is this a butter type cracker or a shortbread type? Trying to find a US equivalent or name of the one you used that I can find at our international district. Thank you for the recipe!
Now that's the kind of charcuterie board addition I'd love to see. Looks really tasty!
My American grandmother made very similar, except she mixed small, multicolored marshmallows into simple melted milk chocolate. For the outside she used shredded coconut instead of sugar. I look forward to trying your recipe. Merry Christmas ⛄
THis looks harder than the Romanian version i tried to make 1 year ago, i think was my first cooking video about it, anyway ours traditional one is super simple, yours look a bit more complex, you could try it without the nuts and grapes in, it's a easier snack, and also we use cocoa, butter , water or milk, for mixture, then you warm it and mix it all, then you put the biscuits in and mix super fast before they soak it all. Then you let it cool a bit, then you can eat it, it has the super chocholate taste, with the crunchy/squshy biscuits, is really good.
argghh the childhood memories this brings back. I used to go nuts for these.
Excellent!
In Greece and Cyprus, we have a similar recipe. In Greece, it's called "Mosaic" and in Cyprus "Duchess." Merry Christmas!
good day sir insted can we put glace cherries or cranberries?
Looks amazing 👏 I subscribe to you 🎉🎉
Waoooo brother awesome cake recipe please stay connected dear ❤❤
I'm from Romania and we have a very similar recipe we call biscuit salami but instead of vanilla extract we ad rum, not the alcoholic drink, and instead of pistachio or raisins we ad Turkish Delight cubed. I like it without biscuits but instead I ad peanuts, pistachio, sunflower seeds, raisins, and any other dryed fruits I have on hand and also instead of rolling it I spread it in a baking tray and I cut it in rectangular shapes.
