Charcoal roast meat is simply the best. It always feels like the charcoal adds some smokinrss to the meat at its carbonizing effect makes the meat more tantalizing. What are your thoughts on this?

Yes. Smoke is your homie. Gas grills are just outdoor ovens IMO.

Like i would eat it everyday, fear of gastric cancer keeps my addiction in check lol

Makes it taste more like charcoal which is a good thing.

Yes, especially mesquite, my favorite. The stuff burns hot, pure mesquite, not charcoal speckled with mesquite pieces. I went to gas, for the ease but nothing beats a mesquite fired steak. Even a hot dog is better.

Huge difference. I like to grill with many different woods.

Yes, and using different charcoal woods gives you a different flavor – post oak vs mesquite vs binchotan is 3 totally different experiences.

My favorite to use is propane, my propane is black square shape though

Use, just make sure you burn youre coals appropriately…a chimney is a good starting point. Charcoal and lighter fluid taste are not the eay to go. Smoke and mesquite is though.

Charcoal also burns hotter than gas flame and that high heat gets a better sear
