These blew my mind. Just saw them at Sprouts, a grocery store near me. And wow. I’m really glad I bought these. They’re a bit on the pricier side, but the fullness I feel is worth it over an empty calorie bagel where I’ll end up eating more food/spending more money on food anyway later. Only qualm is they’re a bit pillowy so it was difficult to slice in half. 17 grams of protein and 20 grams of fiber for 140 calories. Match this with some Green Mountain Greek Cream Cheese and you have a breakfast under 200 calories with 20 grams of protein and around half of your daily fiber needs. Perfectly matches my caloric needs as I lose weight! Let me know if you try them.

I always say that when I win the lottery I’d finally buy these

  2. I love this brand. I use there tortillas daily, they are SO good. They crisp up nice for “chips” and don’t fall apart like other tortillas for wraps. It’s worth the money to me.

I’ve had their regular bread and their hot fog buns. Both good, the buns were a tad dry though. It’s crazy how in a turkey hot dog on a hero bun, the bun has far more protein.

LOVE these. These and Sola bagels (Sola bagels are just shy of Hero in taste/texture but are a little less expensive and fewer calories so they usually win out). I eat them with butter alongside soup, as breakfast sandwiches or pizza bagels, or chop them and air fry them into bagel chips.

The tortillas are really where Hero shines though. $5.99 for a 6 pack at Kroger stores (mine is Fred Meyer) or $6.49 at Safeway/Albertsons. They are identical to the real thing. Better than Mission in every way.

Thank you for sharing! I’ve been seeing them at my local sprouts along with the buns and wanted to try but I’m always skeptical. Getting them next time!
