I believe that’s crepe, not tortilla.

    Anyway, this undoubtedly stupid.

But my god, that end product sear is sexy …

  2. todo_code

Imagine is she accidentally dropped it on the other customer when leaving. This is beyond stupid

  3. Osmosis124

I feel like some safety equipment should be used. But the end product does look good.

  4. cernegiant

Stupid, but not as stupid as someone who thinks that’s a burrito.

  5. capnlatenight

Notice how the diners in the background don’t give a single arse.

Paid $50 for scorching something and then not one person gives a damn.

  6. AfricanAmericanTsar

How can you order a crepe and think it’s a burrito🙄

Let me order a salami pizza and call it a pepperoni pizza.

  7. Glum_Cheesecake9859

Is this even legal? City / food inspectors would like to have a word with these idiots.

  8. Am I crazy for wanting my food to be cooked in the kitchen before being brought out to the table?

  9. UnNumbFool

Well at least the person understands that the shovel is the only reason their crepe? burrito? costs as much as it does.

  10. CheeseburgerLocker

Seems a wee bit unsafe there Bill.

  11. Competitive_Name4991

Yeah, when she walked away I said,”Please don’t drop it on that girl’s head, please don’t drop it on her head!!”

  12. Bonk_No_Horni

It’s just a show. People who go to these “restaurants” don’t go there for food but for a show. (Mostly to brag about it online later)

  13. Master_Win_4018

This might not be a high end restaurant because of the corrugated sheet roofing behind.

I think the customer want it seared and she just brought that heated shovel. 😂

  14. ShrumpDaddy

It doesnt look too heavy but why is she holding it the worst way possible for leverage?

  15. Altruistic_Wait2262

and this is what millionares will call “experience” and explain how it affects the price even if the food was mediocre or just average

  16. vigilantesd

Where you getting burritos for $5?! Basic bean and cheese in San Diego are no less than $10.99 now

  17. Historical_Egg2103

    The insurance company

  18. Tribalbob

I mean, I’d say less dumb than some guy smashing knives against the table and spinning filling around a fork.

  19. Christian562

Now you gotta eat a dry burrito with a fork, that’s culturally appropriate. Rather go to the hole in the wall, at least I know I’m not gonna be spitting out fatty knuckle chunlks every 2-3 bites

    1000 degree knife ❌

    1000 degree shovel ✔️

  21. Away_Read1834

Imagine the liability if she accidentally burned a customer with that.

“Hey mom, I’m at the hospital but I now own a restaurant!”

  22. Electrical-Run7436

held it right over the other customers head walking up – crazy lol

  23. Imagine that, using hot metal to cook your food.

  24. Classic_sophisticate

Reminds of that viral video where there’s a bunch of shitty electrical work and an old lady says her son did it and the worker asks when the house burnt down lol

I expect this to close due to injury soon

  25. anaheim_mac

Burnt on the outside, cold on the inside

  26. No_Supermarket_1831

This looks like a fun place to go eat. Not stupid.

Well, maybe stupid in a fun way.

  27. Audigitty

This is the kind of restaurant I’d bring my lawyer to!

  28. brad-schmidt

Nice.. Iron oxide makes it lot crispier outside but soft inside. Anyway, in unrelated topic truck leafspring are significantly crucial part of truck stability

  29. Bionicregard

That is so fucking dangerous and stupid.

  30. Universe-Eye

They could easily file for bankruptcy once the waitress accidentally slips on her way to a table with that hot iron in her hand….

  31. How to create the unforced error of accidentally giving people third degree burns outside the kitchen. Or accidentally start a fire. They’re already intentionally starting them…

  32. Capt-Quark

That flaming hot metal plate in the middle of a crowded restaurant seems to be in capable hands of a 18 year old girl..

  33. Shaw-eddit

The kitchen scissors where a good idea, but I was not ready for the kitchen shovel.

  34. ManufacturerMajor382

Handling a glowing red hot metal rod in the room full of people.
    Fucking retаrds

  35. fightingbronze

Just gonna point out that this looks to be a crepe not a burrito, so I think we can safely say whoever made the caption isn’t the one who actually filmed this and the price is BS. That said, it’s still extremely stupid regardless of the price.
