Picked up on a trip to Lisbon. Very reasonable price. The fish quality was good. At first I didn’t feel the sauce added much, until the end of the can where I appreciated its subtle spicy-ness. I’prefer to eat straight from the can, hovering over the sink. This particular option I feel is best added to a dish – my remaining tin I’ll add to a goat cheese and tomato pasta with olives, and I’ll be sure to throughly clean out the sauce.

For sink-snorflers, my advice on tomato sauce cans is: They are greatly improved with the addition of at least a bit of heat. Drop the can in super hot water while you search for a (relatively) clean fork. Cold tomato sauce, even good sauce, ain’t a taste treat. Slightly heated, and this tin achieves escape velocity from Planet Chef Boyardee.
I like the cat design on this tin! It’s cool 😂
Is that the WFMU cat?
My wife bought me a Minor deens t-shirt in Portugal. I really like the shirt but given the news lately, I only wear it around the house or under another shirt. It’s unfortunate
