I guess if I can’t do brisket perfectly, I’ll stick with mediocre chex mix…

What about sub par cheese dip? This is kinda bull shit yo. I came here for shitty cheese dip and expect nothing less from you op.

Also, just keep trying my dude. You’ll get there, its a tough cut to master but once you do its earth shattering and opens lots of doors food wise. Keep pushing homie.

Goldfish in chex mix isn’t something I’ve had but sounds good.

Ooooo we literally did this through Christmas and made a batch today too!

We did Chex, cheez its, gold stars (Texas HEB thing , it’s goldfish really), bugles, mixed nuts, pretzels, and wheat thins!

I make a sauce for it: butter, low sodium soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, franks hot sauce, a little brown sugar – simmer in a pan and cool. Add to mixture little at a time to coat evenly. Don’t over do it!

This is soooo good! You could also just commented butter/oil and some seasoning! We like meat church!

This looks more like Munchies, seeing the Doritos and Cheetos in this mix. Love Munchies! Miss the cooler ranch kind

Mom used to make Chex Mix every Christmas when I was a kid. Haven’t had any in decades, I think I’ll make some

Finally something with more moisture than that brisket!

Joking aside, no one has ever cooked a perfect brisket every single time and as long as you and the ones you served it too enjoyed it, that’s all that really matters.

I follow you. Can’t do brisket but can do everything else. I’m stealing your Chex mix “mix”. Cheetos, goldfish, Doritos or tortilla chips, either way. I’m in.
