Bath diners invited to chef’s kitchen for French feast this September

Two celebrated Bath chefs are inviting guests into their own kitchen for a six-course French feast, offering an intimate supper club experienceChristophe Lacroix (left) and Fred Fetiveau will host the September ‘Super Club’.

A celebrated Bath chef is set to welcome diners into his own kitchen for an intimate evening of fine French cooking this September.

Christophe Lacroix, founder of Bistro Chef and Ma Cuisine, will join forces with fellow chef Fred Fetiveau to host their latest “Super Club” – a six-course, bring-your-own-drinks event served at the Bistro Chef factory kitchen.

The night, titled Retour de Chasse avec Christophe et Fred , will take place on Friday, September 26 at 7.15pm. Tickets are £65 per person and numbers are limited. Guests will dine at the chefs’ table, watching the pair prepare dishes that showcase more than four decades of professional experience.

Christophe, originally from La Rochelle, began cooking at 14 and trained in a Michelin-starred kitchen before working as a private chef for clients including Demi Moore and Nicolas Cage. Since moving to Bath, he has opened two restaurants – Le Petit Cochon and Ma Cuisine – before launching Bistro Chef in 2022 with his wife, Brigitte.

Speaking about the upcoming event, Christophe said: “Our ‘Super Clubs’ are one of the highlights of the year. We love meeting our customers, and these evenings are a great way to bring people together through good food and conversation. The menu Fred and I have prepared captures the essence of French cooking – it should not be missed.”
