I heard so much about it, went with high hopes and it was so bad imo. Maybe I should give it another shot.

Been there a few times. The owners have run other restaurants including Omai on Baldwin, which they sold recently. They are very passionate about food and dining experience.

When I went I enjoyed the food but the server (who was not Korean) had zero knowledge of Korean dining customs and language. Didn’t even know how to say “cheers” in Korean. Just struck me as odd.

Never tried Takja, but I’m happy Toronto finally has high-end KBBQ options now!

Love Takja
Taking my parents there for a belated Xmas dinner
It’s so good, but I thought steep. Was really tasty though.
Going tomorrow I can’t wait! Thanks for sharing 🤩
